The license

Buying Portside gets you a personal license, active on one Mac at a time. Moving to a new Mac is self-serve: activate your key there and the previous activation ends. A license key is yours alone; the app and the key may not be redistributed, resold, or shared.

Your purchase includes every Portside update, permanently — there are no upgrade fees. The 7-day trial is the full app; when it ends, continued use requires a license.

The purchase

Orders are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, applicable VAT or sales tax, invoices, and refunds; Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction itself. Refunds are described in our refund policy.

The software

Portside is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability for any claim connected to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it. Portside moves and deletes files at your instruction — keep backups, as you would with any file manager.

Portside embeds SwiftTerm, used under the MIT license.
